They were angels

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

They were Angels
God’s angels, on loan to us from him.
Then suddenly it was time for them to go back.
In our hearts they will always be.
Living there for all eternity.
Please listen to my plea,
Slow down, and use your head
So you too won’t end up dead.

Tears flowing down our broken hearts.
Why, oh why is the question running through our heads and hearts
Lives so bright, so young; gone because of one choice
All gone in one quick moment
They are all gone
Their memory remains
Words they spoke, deeds they did.
Will never be forgotten

They touched so many lives while they were here
Smiling always
Now, 4 crosses on the side of the road marks where you lost your life
You will be missed
You will be remembered
We all love you and will hold you in our hearts.
Our broken hearts will heal in time
We will see you soon keep watch over us, until we met again.

Hey, I really like this poem because I can relate to it. My school and city were divistated after a crash which held 4 boys loved by many people. I only knew 3 of them, but driving by their crosses I feel all 4 of them. I'm sorry for your loss and I hope you can get through and poetry is a great release for that. Keep writing.

I am so sorry.
It's sad to lose a friend, but 4 of them at the same time?
I don't know what to say.
I'm really lost for words.......
