fogged

Contributed by Adreana on Saturday, 10th August 2002 @ 03:07:29 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

textured surfaces calling out
of unknown perils lying ahead
warning me to be wary.
swiveling to and fro
my sink faucet
shakes it's silver head
expressing disgust
in actions taken.
appliances acknowledging me?
how? not possible.
unless my mind
is diluted with something.
cannot focus on the task at hand
or something... i think.
i'm so confused.
why am i here?
apparently i have purpose.
would someone care to share?
i ask for nothing
but the truth.
i want nothing
but nothing.
I want to feel
nothing.
i want to know
nothing.
non-existence
would follow
but i really don't mind.
or do i?
i want to live
without the hurt
of living.
i want to love
without the pain
of not knowing.
does any of this
make any sense?
no... probably not.
but do i care?
no.
yes.
i don't know.

I luv it, and understand completely. Had a few moments like it, and this poem explains and describes them so well. Good work.
