to search, to seek
for the faintest leak,
right from your eyes.
i look, i wonder
and forever ponder,
did you tell all lies?
a hunt, a chase,
this one girl's race
to win this painstaking prize.
her heart, my heart,
he will have no part,
to him she fades and dies.
