Solitude

Contributed by Grae on Saturday, 26th July 2003 @ 05:35:00 PM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

I can be anywhere in a crowded place and still be alone
My expressions can always change my emotions are monotone
I never see the happiness that others seem to find
I guess I don't deserve it, can't find peace of mind
How long will I sit in limbo, How long must I be this way
But I get to liking it so much its where I want to
stay
This is who I am, this is not a mood
I'm in love with my pain and I like my solitude
Always forever in the darkness is where I must abide
No one will ever understand me so in myself I must confide
No more hopes of love of true,
No more kidding myself of what's really inside
of you
Please just stay away
I'm in tune with my pain and I like my solitude

I relate to this poem exactly ... you have expressed the feelings so well ... it's true you almost get used to the pain and loneliness that it becomes your friend ... well written ... Jan

Great write, I relate to this as well... But I must say, you get used to being alone and you think you'll be forever in solitude, until you meet love again... and trust me, you'll fall again. I guess that's the tragedy of love. So the best thing to do is to keep falling. That's what I'll do anyway =)
