Garden of Loss

I love my little garden, but sadly everything is dead
I thought I took care of it, I always made sure it was fed
It was growing beautifully, all life within it bloomed
But where I planted it turned sour and all the happiness it bought me was consumed
I pulled out all the weeds, I yanked with all my
might
I pulled until my hands bled, but still nothing was growing right
I cried into my hands, daming the soil below
What did I do to deserve this, Why won't my garden grow
I emptied out my garden, it was very saddening
over and over I tried again, but the same stuff keeps happening
9 years in, and my garden still ceased this way
I try to be strong, but its been so long holding
to the possibility of it blooming someday.
