Speak NOT!

Contributed by LOWMAN613 on Friday, 25th July 2003 @ 01:35:00 PM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

So many times we wisper & snicker,
with out giving much thought,
But let me tell you, heres the ticker,
Gossiping does hurt alot,
people sometimes will wear a mask,
to cover up the pain,
before you gossip,try to ask,
before taking your words invain,
They may not be what you want them to be,
or what your use to,
but thats no reason to feel free,
to talk about them like you do,
Words can really be painful to some,
so watch the next time,
or you'll be the one whos looking dumb,
telling lies should be a crime,
no one will see the tears,
that those people will face,
unproven stories through the years,
are unforgiven to replace,
So before you snicker & wisper about,
think before you do,
you are hurting someone, without a doubt,
next time it might be you!

Hi,
I was drawn to read this because I can't
stand people who talk behind other's
backs like this.People just don't take the
time to get to know other people anymore.
Anyway, I thought this was a really "think about It" write! Thanks for this!
sincerely,
POOBEAR

Gossip mongers...They make me sick.Having no life of their own to focus on and definately no backbone..these type of people thrive on everyones elses privacy and pain.I hope one of them read this and if not then maybe someone else who likes to lie and be totally spineless will...and maybe they might get the message that you have so excellently put across.Cheers to you my friend. :)

Man, I know what you mean! I wrote a poem about this once, I hate gossipers! They suck, and they rain on every parade.
