There's her side and there's his side
And in between the truth is found
Im sure that if I'm patient enough
True colours will rain down
She says,he says,you say
Just a mumble jumble of words
I have my mind to to work with
But my heart will know truth first
I'm not going to stress out
And let all this bring me down
There's her side and there's his side
Still in between the truth is found
Do gooders want to butt in
And have their two cent say
But what good could a liar do
As they talk their crooked way
So go ahead and do your best
Spit the venom of your lies
But in the end the truth will reign
And I'll still be by his side
For unlike you I have faith
In the man who holds my heart
I will only believe what I see
And not the poison you impart
And even if by some miracle
Your words hold any truth
I assure you Im a big girl now
And my strength will see me through

I enjoyed your poetic effort..the subject is
near and dear to my liver...
----------------------------------------
I've lived my life for many years
There was always something missing,
I foolishly listened in the past,
As hero, I should be hissing.
They told me she was not for me
how could they have known,
What a fool I was back then
Stupid to the bone...
That's not to say I did so badly
It's not a point of recall ,
I guess it proves that many lives
can be led by one and all.
