Scatting

A black scatting something,
Secret to all but me.
I go back, hear wisdom
Never again to be seen.
A fog lingering,
No, no fog can be.
A thunder in the distance,
Or my family’s plea.
Raising my forehead,
All turns to night.
I taste thick, unpleasant nothing,
Something’s not right.
It’s not supposed to hurt,
No sound comes out.
Try to move, seems I’m stuck,
Black something scatters about.
A bearer of disbelief,
I haven’t had time to become.
Starring up, water pours down,
A blast of color rains above.
