LoveRemembered

A young man searched,
through tall grass and weeds.
A stranger he'd never known
Yet, heard of his very good deeds!
Tenderly placing tea roses,
gifts from God, upon
his memorial stone.
He stood all alone.....
I wasn't there, he said a prayer.
"I wish I could have known you Bob.
I've seen your pictures,
and many a story of you I've heard.
Yet, I wouldn't know your voice,
I've never heard a word!
My heart is entwined with yours.
Your character and ways of love.
We had the same teacher,
Our Loving Heavenly Creator above.
I'd like to shake your hand,
with a firm embrace.
I'd like to visit with you,
face to face!
You see, my father refused,
to learn real love.
He was a very selfish man.
He loved his money, more than we!
Greed was his only friend, not me!"
This young man has adopted
the man beneath the earth.
If he were alive,
he'd be so pleased....for he was adopted,
the day of his birth!
This man in the grave,
has been dead for 32 years.
His "bearer of roses" is only 23
How can this be?
My son arrives home.
A short trip from Steamboat Springs Land.
Beautiful bouquet of tea roses,
he holds in his hand!
He shows me a picture......
It's my first husband's grave,
whom I lost to death.
Tea roses are draped all around his head stone!
A moment enjoyed together.
Neither, no longer left all alone!

A very touching moment....
created through tears!
