Spending too much time, building these sand castles
By the waves
Only to be brought down, by relentless waves
All the time
The summer air deceives you, leaving you in high spirits
Only to be toppled down, by dark clouds
Fearless hands take to the sands, try to rebuild what has passed
Losing all faith to the waves, taken to the sea
The warm breeze builds you up, feeding you lies over truth
Leaving you thirsting for honesty, with little hope
Think I’ll spend some more time, rebuilding my sand castle
Try to keep the faith, hope for some brighter days
