Canto VII
"Duke Saint Charles makes excuse to stay behind
when I do lead the knights to holy place.
That knight doth say to me that I wouldst find
Lord Marmaduke a better knight with mace.
For he, Charles, suffers great from sea's bad trace
of Mal de Mer and pule that gives bad puke.
Such woe didst he tell me with worried face.
Think ye that I shouldst gave that knight rebuke?
Tell me now, be that knight a knavish faulty duke?"
