Pain Unspoken

Contributed by MoonlitAngel on Wednesday, 23rd July 2003 @ 08:05:00 AM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

I feel like I'm falling apart till I'm broken
I closed my eyes tight till I was awoken
You weren't there for me when I really needed you
So I got out my knife, and the damage I cannot undo

I'm scared that we're only breaking apart
I did what I could with a change of heart
Nothing I do does what it's supposed to
I tried as hard as I could but I could not break through

I'm so sorry I don't believe
But still I can't just watch you leave
I hit you and you hit me back
This life is fading till all I see is black

I'm so tired of this life
Of the worry and strife
And I just want to sleep
You're the only thing I want to keep

I'm breaking now
I fell somehow
Take it away
Help me to meet you halfway

Fallen
Within
Broken
My pain unspoken

Moonlit this is so lovely in such a hurtful way. I feel your pain my dear. Love is such a double edged sword, it can bring so much joy yet so much sorrow. Things will always work out for the best in the end, whether it is what we want at the time or not. I hope all of your dreams come true and you get out of this life and relationship all that you are hoping for. Spread your wings dear angel and fly... I wish you all the best in your troubled times, may the light soon shine through your pain. Krystal

I think that was a very good poem! It really expresses how relationships can be so hard and how trapped a persons soul can feel. You are a great writer!
