Lost somewhere between intuition and self preservation,
I search inside myself
An answer, a glimmer, a shadow of clarity
All elluding me, dancing peripherally-
Slightly out of reach.
--Causing self examination
--Resulting in loathing
The possibility of a mistake tugs at my conscience,
Yet, isolation and unavailability make this more painfull.
Aloof and powerless,I watch you leave,
Words flying from my heart and missing my mouth.
You walk away, my heart in your hands
Never knowing that all you ever dreamed of was already yours.

That's really painful watching the loved one leaves and the right word doesn't come out at the right moment...grrr...
It's sad but very nicely written. Keep up the good work!
