what you should know

I never wanted to feel this way about you,
I tried to just be friends.
But somehow, during the short while I’ve known you,
I messed up.
And now I find myself longing to see you.
I think of you constantly,
And it’s your fault, you had to say that.
You had to tell me you love me.
I tried to tell myself that it was a lie,
That you were drunk,
That you didn’t mean it,
But then I realized,
It doesn’t matter if you love me or not,
Because I would feel this way even if you were lying.
I wish I wouldn’t feel like this,
I wish I didn’t long to see you,
I wish I everything didn’t remind me of you,
Beautiful, wonderful you.
I don’t think I should tell you this,
You would get scared and run off,
And I would be unable to see you,
But whether its said or not, the truth is,
I love you.

I would say even if he didn't LOVE you. You can't stop Loving him cause he doesn't. LOVE isn't like that. Even if you try to stop LOVING him sometimes it wont go away. It's not up to you it's your heart.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
