I try to keep my head up
looking for a brighter day
but some times I get fed up
when nothing goes my way
When I try to step up
you people push me away
so I try to let up
so you can hear what I say
I want to thank you
for something
I want to thank you
for nothing
You people say you love me
But you always want to shove me
You people say Im great
But Im the one you hate
You say that I should live
Whats the reason you give
Why you say I should stay
This game of life I dont play
So now I thank you
I thank you for nothing
Why should I thank you
Thank you for anything
I hate you
Hate you for everything
I said I hate you
I hate you for everything
You know who you are
if your looking around
A wanna be star
with a horrible sound
I'll hit you with my car
then your face I will pound
You were supposed to take me far
but you left me on the ground
Thats why I thank you
thank you for nothing
cause I hate you
I hate you for something
Id take it back
If there was a reason to
Id take it back
If it were pleasing you
I'll take it back
But theres no reason to
