I need you to be by my side,
I need you in my heart,
I need you to help me through times,
When I have no hope left at all.

I need you to chase away the pain,
I need you to dry my tears,
I need you to be with me every day,
Every month and every year.

I need you to help me stand,
I need you to feel strong,
I need you to comfort me,
I need you when I feel alone.

we all need the one we love to stand close by our side to support love and cherish each other so we feel whole... great poem well done
