The sun sets over the lush meadow
One lone flower now gently stirs
Awakened by the first touch of night
Carefully it unfolds its graceful petals
Laying bare the heart only to darkness
Too delicate to face the sun’s radiance
The flower now stands untouched in full bloom
Revealing a grandeur seen once in a blue moon
Still this shy beauty remains undiscovered
Kept company only by the howling wind
It curls up again at the first hint of dawn
Holding only gloom in its quiet embrace

'A sleepless night is worth
a hundred years of dreaming'
hey, a lovely poem,
the dark side of life
sometimes is the real thing
relative to circumstances. |
