the moon
is full
the tides
that pull
holy water
holy book
bluepurpleblue
a rabbi looks
desmond tutu
tear slips through
kneeling in prayer
heart broken in two
crash of the ocean
wind in the trees
joan's art
brings me to
my knees
holy war
holy cow
holy sex
in the here and now
holy child
virgin mother
leaves the world
a mess
discover the
silence
stop
write a prayer
push it in the wall
and then
somewhere between
the sky and my heart
a revered murmur
helps me to start
finish the circle
around we go
talking fast
and praying slow.

playfully scratches the surface.
'Discovering the silence' is the holiest. |
