Not Enough Time

Topic: DarkPoetry

You leave me here alone
You have fun with your friends
I’m stuck here with myself
I’m so lonely
You don’t have time for me anymore
It’s like I’m invisible
I’m afraid to be alone
But it’s peaceful now
You have no say in my life
For you don’t even know me
I can’t wait till I’m out of here
I can’t stand it here
I’m trapped in a cage
And I’m being something I’m not
You invade my space
You question my friends
Just leave me alone
You don’t have time for me
Don’t worry about me
You don’t care anyway
Don’t pretend your something else
I see through your lies
I can’t remember how it used to be
I just know it was better
You refuse to make me happy
You don’t have enough time to talk things out
You don’t let me go anywhere
I’m trapped here alone
I love you
But I don’t think you can say the same
I wish I could escape
There’s no where to go anyway
I want to cry all the pain away
But you taught me different
The drugs are easing my pain now
You’re not around enough to notice
I see the ideal families
And see how different we are
I don’t understand
You won’t explain it to me
I’m just a little dot
In your world
I don’t blame you for not seeing me
But I’m lonely
And I need you with me
