I sit here in my mind
drifting away from the chaos on the outside
they lock me up in a padded room and stick my arms with needles
but they don't understand that I've already left this prison
I escaped
using insanity as my release
I float away in shadows, farther and father from reach
leaving myself behind
and then I'm brought back by the thought of you
I tear a needle from my arm and drag it across my wrists
then sit and watch blood flow down onto the perfect white padded floor
