If you really loved me

Contributed by BluGurl6 on Friday, 9th August 2002 @ 12:46:07 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

I'm not asking for the moon or sun
I'm not asking for a miracle
I'm not asking for your life
I'm not asking for you to agree with me
But I wanna know,
What confuses me so much is,
Why do you do this to me?
I try so hard to please you
And still that's not good enough
You say you love me
Why do you lie?
I know you really don't
Becuase if you did,
I won't have this feeling right now
The feeling of sadness and sorrow
The feeling of emptiness inside
If you really loved me,
You won't do this to me!
If your words were true
I won't be crying right now
I won't be begging god to take my soul
I won't be so down
If you really did had feelings for me,
How can you do this to me?
Please just tell me the truth
I've been lied to before
Don't tell me that you love me
And then treat me this way
I love you without a doubt
But I'm not afraid to say good bye
A person shouldn't make another feel this way
So you really aren't worth these tears

This poem can be applied to so many different relationships blu... it's a great write... and speaking as a sister myself... sometimes I can hurt my lil sis's feelings and she hates me for it... but I'll always love her. Sisters are good like that... you have your troubles for awhile, but we'll be there when you need us, ya know? Stay sweet blu! Everything will work out!

well, my older sister went out of her way as we were growing up to annoy me and get everything her own way. You know what, I never gave her the satisfaction of letting it get to me, I just shrugged and got on with it. We are good mates now, all these years later, so try and be patient, it her that is loosing out on friend ship with you.
