~*~Dreams Of Children~*~

Contributed by dreadfulsuicide1570 on Friday, 18th July 2003 @ 10:35:00 AM in AEST
Topic: ChildrensPoetry

everyone is good enough.
everyone is right.
everyone deserves a home.
and a warm bed at night.

everyone needs a friend
everyone needs there space
all people are created equal
so why judge someone on their race

perhaps our only problem
is some refuse to see
not everyone else is the trouble
the trouble is you and me

so if we work together
as a team me and you
mybe we can rebuild our world
and make our dreams come true

Why no one has commented on this poem is beyond me. You picked your words carefully and... in the end, it was a master piece.

"Not everyone else is the trouble
the trouble is you and me"

I believe those two lines say everything. That is what is wrong with society today. We hold grudges against people before we get to know them. This poem made me think....

Very nicely done. -Amy
