With wood and a hammer I built a deck,
To keep my wife from giving me heck,
Built it big, sturdy and tall,
One that’s big enough for all.
From my deck there sits this tree,
In the open for all to see.
With all the birds that tend to fly,
Like to sit there as they go by.
And the squirrels love to play,
All around the tree every day.
Even the chipmunks get in the act,
Jumping over each other’s back.
Once seen a deer eat from the limb,
They come around every once and again.
I sit and watch this natures treat,
From the comfort of my seat.

I love this its like Im sitting right there with you. It has been a long while since Iv seen a deer however thanks for reminding me of their beauty. I watch the birds at my feeder everyday.
