Lonliness

Contributed by YPDC_Group_Writes on Thursday, 17th July 2003 @ 12:05:00 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Ilhar:

The stroke of midnight came
She sat watching the flame
Alone again just the cat and she
Would there ever be company

Each night she lit the candle hoping
this was her way of coping
With the emptiness that spanned
Since they said goodbye in the sand

Of the beach so far away
On that terrible stormy day
He promised to return to her soon
But that was long ago so many moons

Shelby:

The clock ticked off the minutes
Minutes turned to days
The candle wax still dripping
Lonely nights and endless days

Haunting memories of that day
Came back to her still
For now she is living heart sick
A void nothing can fill

Prudent:

Lost in the grey despair of nothingness,
She falls into an abyss of desire.
Her forlornness evokes the flood of tears,
Of loosing him, she so much fears.

Lovewriter:

As dreamy thoughts
Fill her mind
The one true love
She hopes to find

One honest man
To take her away
The search go one
Still to this Day

He is out there
Open and true
As you search
He's searching for you
