Welcome To This World Of Pleanty...

Welcome to this world of pleanty
fill your boots... dont leave empty
take as much as you can store
then put it down to take some more
dont worry bout the ones forgot
its there for us... a shame to not
so get stuck in... you wont be first
to fill your belly and quench your thirst
no room for guilty feeling stored
grap as much as you can hoard
take it... waste it... throw it out
its just a date... theres more about
perfect food without a bruise
damaged goods... we just dont choose
in our world of gluttons... greedy gentry
here we are... in this world of pleanty
Welcome to the... world of those
where all they have is just there clothes
rags they are... to me and you
how can this happen... in 2...O...2
welcome to another day... in Devils hell far away
a scorching sun... dont shine on gluttons
welcome to there world of nothing...

MDM...8/8/65...

Great poem. It is easy for us to forget the misfortuned and take for granted what is so plentiful. This poem is a real eyeopener.
