Have you ever felt so alone?
Like the world you once held was no longer your own?
Have you ever just felt like a fly on the wall?
Like everyone controlled you-like strings on a doll?
Sometimes things seem so out of reach,
Like a never-ending ocean to a non-existent beach.
Sometimes things seem impossible to handle,
Like a raging fire from a flickering candle.
Has the road seemed endless and so long?
Feeling so weak when you were once so strong?
Have you ever felt so alone?
Have you ever felt so distant and cold?
Like the one you love is impossible to hold?
Have you ever felt like forgetting it all?
Like trying to walk when you just want to crawl?
Sometimes problems seem too big to change,
Like trying to find answers to questions so strange.
Sometimes hurt can overwhelm your soul,
Like being torn to pieces when you once felt so whole.
Has someone you loved broke your heart in two?
Shattered in pieces, never again to renew?
Have you ever felt so distant and cold?

This poem pauses the question with no mercy
" Yes I have, yes, yes, YES! and enough, no more
I can't take this any more!".
Seriously Kristal top notch poem, lots of understanding,
the heart gets chewed up when openly positioned,
I say always alone-never lonely, let's deal with it
"cest la vie!".
This poem rubs in the question convincingly, skilfully.
