soul to soul

Contributed by karoody on Monday, 14th July 2003 @ 07:35:00 PM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

i have no dawn i have no dusk
for what is the soul but an explosion of energies??
energy has no beginning or end
the light of energy goes dim at times
but the gods and goddesses encourage their brightness
my energy has no name, for different souls seek energies at different times
so my appearance is your perception

my soul searches for balance
between the light in the dark and the dark in the light
between the boundaries of hate and the landscapes of love
between the wonders of beauty and the colors of ugliness

my soul searches for a home
and companionship on the journey
innocence and purity are found
along with corruption and the tainted
all accepted in grace because it too is part of the scales

my mortal form appeared under the scales of libra
thus starting the search for balance
my mortal form will cease
and in the scales will sit eternal peace
and then my energies will rest but they will never go dim
they will keep a vigilant light on the scales

i have stumbled upon another libra how wonderful... that makes three for me... just a little side note... listen to "3 Libras" by A Perfect Circle... very touching song. kara you have put words to such truth... seeking balance in life and after life is one of the greatest challenges ever... lately ive found myself a little off balance may it be im leaning onto my left foot or right this poem spoke what many feel in life when times get hard and you want to even out everything... but i must say... you can never truly balance a scale in its itself... getting as close as you can will help to balance the greater scale of things... wonderful write kara... so nice to hear from you again
-Sid
