I know that youre not coming back
Though you never took the time to say goodbye
For I have felt the teardrops
Though you swore you'd never make me cry
Why did you tell these lies to me?
Did you think I could not handle to know what was true
Did you think that you would hurt me
And so instead made me hate you?
I can't believe that all along
It was bull***** that poured out of your lips
I can't believe that I once thought
I'd do anything to feel your kiss
And the way you told me you loved me
And thats what I believed
You told me I could trust in you
But thats not what you achieved
So it ends with hurt and hate
Instead of "I Love You, and Goodbye"
Surely theres a reason
For all the tears Ive cried
I try to force you out of my head
So I'll no longer feel this pain
You yell at me for cutting
Then give me need to do it again
I guess if you have made your choice
I cant take that away
I can only cry these tears
That i cry today
And I guess I reached the finish line
Without you in my sight
The place for you is waiting here
And you can be my light
The finish line came so suddenly
With no time to question why
So now I'm gonna end this right
I Love You and Goodbye.

| This is a very sad write that I can relate to so much. I understand where you are comeing from with this and I really liked the poem, it all flowed so well. I have just been thru this with someone I loved, so this poem really did make me cry. Thankyou so much for sharing. |
