Split Finger Hollywood

The room was lit
Like a cold morning
And we acted as gods,
Creating a fog as we parted our lips
We'd just sit
Let the smoke escape
Roll of my tongue in twisting shapes
What elegancy we'd emit.
A split finger Hollywood
Who knew glamour felt this good?
Bloody static in one eye,
Oh what it's like lost in a lie.

i like the short verses... it has a nice style
overall i think it is a good poem, it really depicts partly what getting high feels like sometimes |
