Deeper than gaffiti

In the back of your mind
There’s an ocean
Deeper than graffiti
More subtle than constantly bleeding
Or haven’t you noticed ?
There’s a coelacanth in the kelp bed below us
Darksome clouds of glowing Lives
Abandoned in the random
Overlong .
Underneath the same damn stars that find you staring at your feet
