One Stormy Night

Contributed by PsychoticDreamz on Saturday, 12th July 2003 @ 05:05:00 AM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

One stormy night
One lonely girl
Two tear-filled eyes
Her own little world,
Once happy in life
Now has taken a great fall
Sadness overwhelms her
She wants to end it all,
The lightening startles her
As she pulls out her blade
It kisses her skin - a wonderful feeling
Her surroundings fade,
Only focusing
on her now bloodied floor
Seeing if this satisfies her
Or if she needs more,
No one understands why she does this
Not even herself
Still no one acknoweledges
that she needs help,
Before she cuts too deep some night
She told her family why she was this way
Even then no one cared
Or had a word to say,
Nowdays this young girl
cries herself to sleep every night
Trying to late a little longer
Trying to keep up the fight,
The pain is everlasting
within this girls broken soul
Until she finds true happiness
death will be her only goal,
I cry everytime I think of this child
and I wish it wouldnt be
But sadly this is the true life of this girl
This is the life of me....

Sorry Typo, I meant "Trying to live a little long"

....not 'late'..might make more sense the correct way...

this is really a great write... it blows me away how much of this could be used to describe not only me, but so many of the people around me... thanks for letting us read, it was great...
