I sit down to write a poem

I sit down to write a poem
and out the words tumble
I pick out my favorite peices
and make something of the jumble
Some of it tells a story
Some of it tells of my dreams
But most of it is a riddle
Not really what it seems
You may never find the real answer
For I often keep it deeply hidden
It is mine and mine alone
And to all else it is forbidden
You can still see these odd creations
With their strange twisted perfection
I share them for you to read
And for you to make your own connection

Good, tight, honest poem. I'd like to see more stuff! Keep writing so we can decipher your riddles. |
