I'm sorry
for the way my words
sometimes come out,
how they offend
and insult,
hurt and crush
your fragile feelings.

I hope I'm all you want,
and what you want,
I hope I please you-
despite my problems.

I wish I could explain
my feelings just a bit better,
so there would be no pain,
no misinterpretations.

You're all I want,
and what I want,
so this apology
comes from deep down.

Please don't give up on me,
because I believe in you,
and listen to the words
you speak passionately about-
even if I disagree,
I'm listening,
and I care.
