Not from the intellect explain,
nor words wrote,
an essay, nor exam:
to measure the weight
of a glance.
One can see that look,
unhidden, unashamed,
embraced in a smile.
To calculate, compile
brings us to waste
the time,
when in a moment
a soul is lost;
in a glance…
when the toss of your hair
enslaves me,
binds my heart to break;
and in just a glance,
no courtship or romance,
but in a glance.
