Grief
|
He looked her in the eye,
As she began to cry.
He knew he shouldn't to this,
But he gave her one last kiss.
He was sorry he had to go,
Promised this is the last show,
That he would ever go to,
He was right, if only he knew.
She got the call that night,
It seems there was a fight,
He got in the way of a knife,
And it seems he lost his life.
She didn't know how to react,
But in grief she didn't lack.
She was heartbroken beyond belief,
So when death came it was a relief.
And so the story goes to say,
When you find that someone someday,
Try to be with them at all cost,
Or else all could be lost.
