I opened up, you broke down my wall of defence
I put both feet in, I commited to you
I let my gaurd down, you made me trust
I took the dive, and landed flat on my face
You let me down, You stop caring
You hid your true feelings, You lied to me
You Changed, I changed
You told me you were different, not like the rest
You made me trust, I didn't dount you
You made me care, I found my heart
You help me see the light, the good in the world
But you only showed me the light
I am the one who has to reach it
I don't need you to get there
