90 years young this past May, What can I say,
The pain you've lived through, I'd never want to be in your shoes,
Through it all you've kept a smile on your face,
Fore that alone, in my heart you will always hold a place,
From the Titanic in 18", to burying a grandson, still in his teens,
From the crash in 29", to both your daughters leaving this world behind,
From WWII to another grandson leaving this world he knew,
From " Korea" to God chosing your husbend to leave ya,
From Pearl Harbor, to the A-bomb in Japan,
The stories you have not all can understand,
How about JFK, you still remember what you were wearing that day,
Vietnam to the sands of Iraq, how you hated the way they treated the blacks,
How you fought for women's rights, but still made your husband's dinner everynight,
From your Model T Ford, to your 2003 Accord,
From the silent sceen, to the action packed movie themes,
From seeing it all, to the joy in your voice whenever I call,
From rocking me in a carriage, to being at mine and my wife's marriage,
From the shaky pelvis of a young kid name Elvis,
To the music of today, my has the world changed,
From the bottom of my soul, your the greatest women I will ever know.
Great Grandma I love you.
Foever Faithful

Awww, this poem is so beautiful. It brought tears to my eyes. I never got to meet my great-gandma, because she died 6 months before I was born. Everybody in my family says that I am just like her. I got my middle name "Rosella" from her. I am the only one out of all of her grand children and great grandchildren that is named after her. If I have a daughter some day I will give her the middle name Rosella too. I wish that I could have met her, I think that I would have loved her very much. Great poem.
