I wish for perfection
I wish that we couldn’t fade away in the form we do
Wishes and hopes are shrouded in a cloud of mistrust
Wary unto the giver of life
Wary onto the way we are
Wishing for a difference
Wishing for unity
Viewed as selfish
We view as essential
To the life we are given
Truly blessed with the gift of giving
Cursed with the show of greed
Sanctified with the loving ways
Staying away from showing hate
I wish we could wish for an infinite paradise
But to give it away to another soul for genuine ecstasy
Would be an astounding feat
In a being shrouded in a cloud of mistrust
