I’m left standing by the window
Waiting for you
I wonder where you are
Why are you so late?
I’m fully dressed, all in white
My bouquet in ready and in hand
These high-heeled shoes are starting to hurt
Why aren’t you here?
Most of the guests have left now
Only our families remain
Your parents apologize over and over for you
Mine just stare at them and frown
Why did you keep my waiting?
Why didn’t you care?
I walk down the aisle to the door
Leaving you forever, again

Well written poem
------------------
I'm sure I would mind
if this happened in kind,
If my spouse who's to be
pulled this one on me.
