STRAIGHT FROM MY HEART
Can I compare the feelings we share
With a rosebush laden with thorns?
Do I regret and can I forget
The fights that we woke to most morns?
But still you are here, holding me near,
Easing my pains with your touch.
And as you look in my eyes, I cannot disguise
The fact that I owe you so much.
For you were the one who gave me the sun
And made my nights bright as the day,
And the times that we spent in deep argument
Could never the good times outweigh.
Our own special feelings, their own special meanings,
We share whether happy or blue,
But to describe the emotion that rolls like the ocean
Are three words - I love you.

well written and describes a good marraige
and believe me there are thorns, ltierally he picked a rose for me from the garden and forgot to take the thorns off. owww
