Memories In The Moonlight

Contributed by kangarose on Sunday, 6th July 2003 @ 10:35:00 PM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

Memories in the moonlight,
A twinkling starry look in his eyes,
The rapture of the love we shared,
From days gone by.

I held you in my arms dear,
You captured my heart and soul,
Never will i forget you,
Love once captured then it was gone.

For souls as we go on for ever,
Even though time has made us part,
I often think back to times dear,
when we made love on those cold winters nights.

Many a blue moon ago,
You encaptured my very soul,
Now we have drifted apart,
So many waves in the distance.

I still feel your love,
From time to time,
Still hear you calling my name,
Even though your not with me,
I still call your name.

Memories in the moonlight,
On a distant shore,
Encapturing each other,
One day maybe he'll return.
