an apology

Contributed by plous on Sunday, 6th July 2003 @ 08:05:00 PM in AEST
Topic: ApologyPoetry

mad at myself and sorry to you,
its a mistake i made,
and one that will stay,
for i have no say,
barring what i said,

this wonders around,
burning in my head,
hopeing you are alwright,
takeing good care of your own life,

what i felt,
being close,
wondering around,
looking at structures,
statues and things before me,
finding i am not right,
my presence damageing,

you are so special and bright,
seeing this world,
to you dark and not right,
i am just another part,
and not good for you,
not for what it had become,
something i punish myself for,
light words used are dumb,

i am sorry, so much and to late,
i wish somehow i could relate,
i hope this is not over,
not to the full,
not to hear form you again,

i did what i thought was best for you,
in time i think you will see that,
maybe even smile,
when you find what is right for you,
when you will stop feeling blue,
when someone comes along and gives what i cant to you,

i am sorry it went like this,
i just wanted something good for you,
and did something else,

this is an apology and all i can give,
i hope will accept,
and talk to me sometime,
becca, i am sorry as i can be,

An apology my heart wishes to accept, yet my mind refuses....

I dont know what you want Chris, one minute you say friendship...the next you say more, i'm just lost
