Friends And Lovers...

Candlelight is flickering.....the .wine is chilled on ice....Somewhere under the table.....He's feeling something nice....Their eyes are hazy and.....mesmerized....
Each held captive by the other...
Tonight they'll celebrate a year of being friends and lovers
Whispers pass across the room....they smile and reminisce.....
He talks of when he first saw her....then remembers their first kiss
She cannot hide the sparkle...the love within her eyes....
Thinks of all his tenderness....and smiles with a sigh
The roses on the table.......from seeds so long ago.......
He made for her a garden.....where now the roses grow....
As he refills the glasses.....he looks to see her smile.....
Without this woman in his life......nothing would be worthwhile
She has been there in the dark of night....with whispers in his ear.....Soft hands upon his body.....always snuggled near
In the light of day...her laughter has echoed through his heart....her love has been his everything.....
And from her ,he'll never part
Again under the table,he feels her presence near....he looks upon her face and sees the look appear....The look he knows so well after all their time together........The eyes that beckon gently of his friend and lover
Leaning more towards him....taking his hand so warm and strong...She whispers"I'm going to bed,won't you come along
The music in the background...fades a lil with every step...As towards their celebration.......
They move with lustful breath
He gathers her up into his arms as they near the bedroom door....and carries her so easily..like many times before....
With adoration in her heart and happy tears within her eyes....She smiles and remembers when once they were so shy....
Yet as the moonlight filters through...to cast its glow upon the bed.....She smiles as he whispers....Lets make love outside instead.
Out onto the balcony and down the wooden stairs....She's undressing as he carries her.....and letting down her hair....
Past the little rose garden..along the wooded path.....he takes her to their favourite place.....And lays her on the grass....A beautiful summers evening.......with a million stars above....what a perfect setting to celebrate their love
His lips press hard upon her...trailing across her neck......leaving a moist kisses all the way to her breast
She arches up her back....as his tongue comes into play.......and pulls him ever closer.......as her hands begin to stray
Lying there on top of her....their skin shimmering in moonlight....beaded with droplets of their sweat.......from the heat of this summer night
Looking deep into his eyes......knowing for her there is no other....She feels his love go deeper still.......Forever friends and lovers
