She twiddles her tiny thumbs in an attempt to pass the time
What inspiration will be next to hold her loving rhyme
She’s loved, been loved but love went away
She still hopes for the love that would forevermore stay.
Her hair is long like brown laces from designer boots in high fashion places
When will another come fill those aching spaces
Her wait’s been only briefly interrupted
She holds onto her heart totally uncorrupted.
Her scent is like candy dripped down from the sky
Who is this in her door; maybe just another guy?
Her door opens and she takes him inside.
And this was the day when our sadness died.

I liked reading this alot
My favorite line in this poem
was "Her scent is like candy
dripped down from the sky".
Absolutely beautiful.
