Waiting For Vanity

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Waiting in Vain
Expecting is Misery
Why I cannot leave my house alone is a Mystery
Please come soon for I fear that these walls may come to life and swallow me whole.
Or that I may do the unthinkable and leave her alone here, While I free my soul in a messy bathroom. Take apart a bic and chicken out at the last second, only to come into a brown living room, fall onto a stolen couch and cry until my eyes are swollen in front of the Simpsons.

My mind is repetitive, and yet I swear it is different each time, unless I am thinking outside myself here. Where I can be honest.
Here.
Where I am never honest.
Here lies only lies.

A reflection of a spoiled liar. A girl who does nothing for herself and yet makes demands on the world. A miserable wretch who is blind to the beauty in front of her. Oh Please, allow me to wait no longer, I need saving and for you to tell me
Why I am so great.

I wait for it.

It's like your telling my own story.....
You captured me and made me feel what you feel...
Awesome

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
