Love Again

In a shadow or perhaps a dream
a glint, a reflection of what would come
In a stupor filled by Irish Cream
I broke the ice – feeling dumb.
Silence rang loudly night after night
The hopes tormented me without relent
The shadow fades, timed just right
The sweet angel appears as if heaven sent
Like from a book my words flowed smooth
The hope built a bridge to reality within my core
With her touch my pain is soothed
And I’m reminded what my heart is for.

Candice...again? V.lucky lady isn't she? This is a poem i could relate to. The last two lines show how true your heart is and how much "love" u are feeling. Nicely done.Kiz's Scale: 3.99 |
