Daddys Almost Done

Grief

What hurts more...
The physical or mental pain?
Your lieing on your deathbed
Watching your children mourn for you.
You have cancer and suffer unbearable pain.
On one side is physical suffering:
Continuous Dr. visits
Constant needles
Constant prodding
Always being tested and
Always praying for an end.
On the other side is mental pain:
Day in and day out
Visits from the ones closest to you
Remind you that you’re the reason they weep.
You cant see the tears
But you see the heartache in their eyes
And hear the sorrow in their voice.
How long will this go on you must wonder?
How much more can someone endure?
Until the day this all comes to an end
From death or from cure
Ill supress my tears
And conceal my sorrow
Remembering once again
When everything was perfect
And you could still hold me in your arms
and call me your beautiful little erica

I am so sorry for your tragedy. Have you considered hospice? I read a book about it and it really seems to help the terminally ill and those close to thems. It will help you open up.
It's OK to cry :)
Good Luck.

I have lost three family members and a "second mum" to cancer. I know this heartache so well. It doesn't get any easier, but I only hope that he passes soon, and will be in a better place. I have lit a candle for your father. My blessings to you and your family. I hope your pain eases soon.
