Just one cup.
Just one sip.
Just one touch of blood.

The fear of death.
The stabbing pain.
Just one touch of blood.

Hands unclenching,
Pain unending.
Just one touch of blood.

Guilt must follow,
as a price.
Of what you've done,
This shameful night.

Just one touch of blood.

This poem kinda confused me. I read your authors notes and had a hard time seeing how they related to your poem. What is the "just one touch of blood"?
