Here it is

Contributed by daydreamer on Friday, 4th July 2003 @ 01:35:00 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

I thought that at first you could just be my friend
But as the shadow is upon us it feels like it’s the end
Don’t tell me that you love me if you don’t mean it
I don’t want to grow old waiting for you as I knit
I never wanted to be this kind of person who falls in love
You made it seem like we fit so perfect but now it feels like O.J. Simpson’s glove
I know you cared about me at one time or another
I feel like I am in an entrapment like without your kiss I will smother
Don’t play head games that is all I ask of you
I don’t care if you never kiss me on my neck, just no head games whatever you do
I don’t ask for you to be a model or to be Johnny cool
As long as you don’t belittle me or drool
I don’t need a bunch of money so please don’t work late
If you can handle me then lets make a date
Don’t smack me, don’t ask me to change
I don’t care how perfect you are I won’t live in a cage
But I will lay my life down to protect you
If you treat me right with everything you do
Don’t punish me for having fun with my friends
Don’t get paranoid and act like ***** never mends
You need to trust me and know you are the only man for me
I have tried everything, I don’t know what else to do to make you see
So here it is you either take these words and understand or there’s the door
If you choice to leave, I am sorry but don’t leave a tear stain on the floor
