Death cause you broke my heart

Contributed by discantbelife on Thursday, 3rd July 2003 @ 10:05:00 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

He was my first love, and believe it or not the secret we kept we're between us. Some times at night i would lay awake in bed, trying to figure out each word he said, When he took my heart and broke it into pieces, all i was trying to figure out was his main thesis. Why did it have to end this way, now im sitting here trying to pray, that when i put the gun to my head, that he will know why it is im dead. That he will know he is the main cause, that i had to put my life on pause. Now as i write this poem, all the world will know of him, as soon i am dead, the whole world will have already read.

Oh, have I felt like this before! However over time I have learned that there is not a man who walks this Earth who is worth the pain you have expressed in your words. You will get over him and move on to bigger and better things. Allow yourself the time to get over this troubled relationship before you enter into another - otherwise the hurt builds up until you are are so hardened by one man, you can never love again - and only then do you really die of a broken heart. Your poem could use a little work, but the sentiment you have expressed here is amazing. Keep writing, it is so theraputic. Thanks for sharing,
juliette

You will solve nothing if you were to die.
Most guys would never take on such guilt you are hoping for. And you pass up the chance to meet a guy who will love you back as deeply as you love him.

You made it so easy to feel your pain. I hope you realize that no one is worth this kind of contemplation.

I just have a different take on relationships. I wrote lyrics for a song not to long ago about relationships. I have always thought that there was more pain in never taking the chance, than in taking a chance and having your heart broke. Really, which is sadder?
The pain of a heart break or the pain of never knowing what might have been?
